Anyone who has an interest in learning more about this subject matter is encouraged to take the course. There are no entry requirements to take the course.
The course is broken down into 20 individual modules. Each module takes between 20 and 90 minutes on average to study. Although you are free to spend as much or as little time as you feel necessary on each module, simply log in and out of the course at your convenience.
You can study the course any time you like. Simply log in and out of the web based course as often as you require. The course is compatible with all computers, tablet devices and smart phones so you can even study while on the move!
Once you have completed all 20 modules there is a multiple choice test. The questions will be on a range of topics found within the 20 modules. The test, like the course, is online and can be taken a time and location of your choosing.
The pass mark for the test is 70%.
If you don’t pass the test first time you will get further opportunities to take the test again after extra study. There are no limits to the number of times you can take the test. All test retakes are included within the price of the course.
Once you have completed your test you can log in to your account and download/print your certificate any time you need it. If you would prefer us to post you a certificate to a UK address, there will be an admin charge of £10 (certificates sent internationally may cost more).
You can either use your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Solo cards or PayPal account to pay for the online course. Our site uses the latest SSL encryption to ensure your safety. All payments are handled securely by PayPal.

This course is very comprehensive. It is packed full of very helpful information to aid the Teaching assistant to use his or her skills and knowledge to the full.
If this course is being taken by those who have no knowledge of being a TA, then in my honest opinion they would certainly know about the role when they finish.
I do like the online tests at the end. It does make you think and definitely reinforces what material has just been read. It is also an incentive when seeing a 'grade' to realise how much has been taken in thus encouraging enthusiasm to proceed to the next module.

I chose this course because it fits in around my family life and current work obligations. It does exactly what it says on the tin. Access to the course is easy, the language used in the course is easy to understand, and being able to take things at my own pace is ideal.

This course is very well written and understandable.There is a lot of important information,all the chapters are well proportioned and enjoyable to read and understand.

A brilliant course which was very informative and I really enjoyed it. Very difficult test at the end so you do really need to read through every module to do the test and pass it.

Packed full of very helpful information
This course is very comprehensive. It is packed full of very helpful information to aid the Teaching assistant to use his or her skills and knowledge to the full.
If this course is being taken by those who have no knowledge of being a TA, then in my honest opinion they would certainly know about the role when they finish.
I do like the online tests at the end. It does make you think and definitely reinforces what material has just been read. It is also an incentive when seeing a 'grade' to realise how much has been taken in thus encouraging enthusiasm to proceed to the next module.
In all I would say that this course is certainly worth doing, I'm enjoying it and what it has to offer.

I would definitely recommend this way of learning
I chose this course because it fits in around my family life and current work obligations. It does exactly what it says on the tin. Access to the course is easy, the language used in the course is easy to understand, and being able to take things at my own pace is ideal.
I like that the modules can be printed out, so important areas can be highlighted, and that modules can be re-visited as many times as necessary. I'm enjoying the course, and look forward to completing it so I can apply for some jobs in 2018.
I would definitely recommend this way of learning to anyone who would like to learn something new whilst still being able to work.

I loved the course, very easy to follow plus the course it self explains everything so well and in so many details. There'a a short test after each module that helps u check your knowledge and tells you how well you're doing, I found that very helpful. Fantastic course. This is the 2nd course I've completed and the new layout is great. Re-cap questions, some assignments and some questions at the end of each module really helps to digest all the information. Firstly I was a bit pessimistic about doing an online course at this level, I thought it would not be enough for my role but it is, and with the practical experience I have within a school it was a very comfortable experience to take part in the course, the module assessments are multiple choice and the end assessment was clear and concise, and I am now about to do another!!!
