Lesson planning is a difficult but important part of any teacher’s job. Without a solid plan in place, it can be hard to capture and maintain the focus of your class. It is also harder to ensure that you have allocated enough time to the material that you want to deliver. While lesson planning is complex, it is a skill that can be learned just like any other.
This course gives you an overview of lesson planning, letting you know how to properly arrange the material that you want to deliver in a way that appeals to as many students as possible. We divide this information across two modules.
The first module focuses on what you need to know before you sit down to draft your lesson plan, including a discussion of different learning styles.
The second module talks about how to execute your lesson plan and includes a discussion on classroom technology.
By the end of the course, you should be able to craft and deliver a lesson plan that successfully appeals to your whole class.

Anyone who has an interest in learning more about this subject matter is encouraged to take the course. There are no entry requirements to take the course.
The course is broken down into 2 individual modules. Each module takes between 20 and 90 minutes on average to study. Although you are free to spend as much or as little time as you feel necessary on each module, simply log in and out of the course at your convenience.
You can study the course any time you like. Simply log in and out of the web based course as often as you require. The course is compatible with all computers, tablet devices and smart phones so you can even study while on the move!
Once you have completed all 2 modules there is a multiple choice test. The questions will be on a range of topics found within the 2 modules. The test, like the course, is online and can be taken a time and location of your choosing.
The pass mark for the test is 70%.
If you don’t pass the test first time you will get further opportunities to take the test again after extra study. There are no limits to the number of times you can take the test. All test retakes are included within the price of the course.
You can either use your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Solo cards or PayPal account to pay for the online course. Our site uses the latest SSL encryption to ensure your safety. All payments are handled securely by PayPal.
You can begin the course immediately after your payment has been received. You will create your login details during the checkout process. We will also send you an email confirming your login details.
We estimate that the course will take about 1.25 hours to complete in total, plus an additional 30 minutes for the end of course test.
Once you have been awarded your certificate it is valid for life. The certificate does not expire or need renewing.
I did not realise how in depth make up actually was until I actually began the course.
I found the course material very beneficial and it gave me an understanding of how to use all aspects of make up.The videos are extremely helpful and the tutor on them is very precise and clear.
I am exceedingly happy I took this course and it has put me in place for the perfect start. Highly recommend thank you skill academy for giving me the opportunity to better my self at my own pace. The hints and tips are ideal to make notes of xx

I really enjoyed this course. It allowed me to go at my own pace, completing modules in my lunch breaks or at home and you can do the modules as many times as you like which suited me.
The modules were explained well, included a clear step by step guide with a video and a spreadsheet to practice on which allowed me to learn the content in different ways. The module content was extremely valuable and taught me how to understand Excel which will lead to saving time in future projects needing Excel.
This course not only includes the very basics but explains some core Excel processes. I recommend this course to all abilities and anyone who needs to use Excel.

I am a hands-on learner, nothing goes in when I am bored blasted. This course was fantastic, the material for each module is provided in writing, which can be printed and read wherever you are in in your own time, all devices compatible and a short video showing how to do it using Excel.
You can re-visit each module however many times you want, even after completing the exam. The exam is totally content driven (what they teach is what they ask).
