Module 13 : How to Make a Balloon Dog

13.1: Step-by-step Guide
In this module you will learn how to make a balloon dog.
This is a good technique to start with as it is one of the most commonly asked for balloon models at children's parties.
Step 1
Get your supplies ready. In this case your pump and a balloon.
Step 2
Insert your pump and grip the balloon on the nozzle and pump the balloon up, leaving approx. 4 inches deflated .
Step 3
Remove the pump without releasing any air and tie a knot to stop the air escaping (as shown in module 12).
Step 4
Pinch an inch of the balloon from the knot end using your finger and thumb and twist the balloon and hold the two pieces so they don't come undone.
Step 5
Then about another inch into the balloon, pinch and twist to make an ear, again hold the balloon so it doesn't release.
Step 6
Bring the long balloon down by the side of the other two bubbles...
grip the bottom bubble and the long balloon in one hand...
pinch at the twist on the opposite side, twist the balloon in to a lock twist to hold in this position .
Step 7
Repeat step 6 again to make the front legs.
Step 8
Pinch twist and hold to make the body.
Step 9
Bring the rest of the balloon down by the side of the body, pinch at the twist together with the opposite side to make a lock twist that creates the back legs.
Finished Product
You now have your completed dog model.
