Module 14 : How to Make a Balloon Elephant

14.1: Step-by-step Guide
In this module we will show you how to make a balloon elephant.
These are popular with both boys and girls. Blue is a good colour choice for this model, however it's always a wise idea to ask the children which colour balloon they would like you to use.
Step 1
Pump the balloon leaving approximately 3 inches deflated
Step 2
Remove the pump without releasing any air and tie a knot
Step 3
About a fingers length in to the balloon pinch twist and hold. This will form the elephant's trunk.
Step 4
To make elephant's ear bend balloon back round on itself.
Grip the long part of the balloon and the elephant's trunk in one hand. Pinch the balloons together and twist in opposite directions.
You now have the trunk and one ear
Step 5
To make the second ear curve the balloon back on itself pinch and lock twist
Step 6
Next we make the neck. About 1-2 inches down from the ears pinch, twist and hold the balloon.
Step 7
Now we make the legs. Decide how long you want the legs to be. Ideally, in order to make them all equal they will need to be just under 1/4 of the remaining length of the balloon.
Pinch twist and hold the balloon
Step 8
Bring the long part of the ballon back down alongside the leg and neck
At the twist and on the opposite side pinch the balloon together and twist the opposite directions to form a lock twist which will create the front legs
Step 9
Next, pinch and twist and hold the balloon to make the elephants back
Step 10
For the back legs pinch and lock twist
