Module 19: How to Make a Balloon Turtle
Duration: Approx 30 minutes

19.1: Step-by-step Guide
These cute turtles really have the "wow factor".
Follow these instructions to make them.
Step 1
Pump the balloon up most of the way - you wont need all of the balloon for this technique.
Step 2
Place your finger on the knot...
And push in as far as you can
Step 3
With the opposite hand pinch the balloon and grab the knot holding it tightly...
Then slowly take your finger out of the balloon.
Step 4
Now, pinch and twist the balloon just in front of the knot.
Step 5
Now make 4 little bubbles the same size as the one you have already created keeping hold of them at all times.
Step 6
Divide the 4 bubbles so there are two each side (these are going to be the legs).
Step 7
Pinch behind the first bubble you created (the head) and the twist together with the long part of the balloon.
Step 8
Next we create the shell. Pinch and twist an area on the remaining part of the balloon to make another bubble...
Then grip and twist to ensure that you don't lose any air.
Step 9
Using a pair of scissors cut off the rest of the balloon...
Then let the excess deflate.
Step 10
Tie a knot to prevent any further air escaping.
Step 11
Pull the knot and twist it between the two rear legs.
