This course goes into detail regarding personal safety, with an emphasis on personal safety while at work. We begin by giving you a brief introduction to the topic, including a definition and legal obligations in the area of health and safety. Next, we move on to talk about personal safety as it pertains to those who work alone, whether it is in an office or retail setting or if it involves working remotely from home. The course also reviews ways to stay safe while travelling on business, including why you should check in with your home office daily. Finally, we talk about how to stay safe when working at off-site locations.

Anyone who has an interest in learning more about this subject matter is encouraged to take the course. There are no entry requirements to take the course.
The course is broken down into 4 individual modules. Each module takes between 20 and 90 minutes on average to study. Although you are free to spend as much or as little time as you feel necessary on each module, simply log in and out of the course at your convenience.
You can study the course any time you like. Simply log in and out of the web based course as often as you require. The course is compatible with all computers, tablet devices and smart phones so you can even study while on the move!
Once you have completed all 4 modules there is a multiple choice test. The questions will be on a range of topics found within the 4 modules. The test, like the course, is online and can be taken a time and location of your choosing.
The pass mark for the test is 70%.
If you don’t pass the test first time you will get further opportunities to take the test again after extra study. There are no limits to the number of times you can take the test. All test retakes are included within the price of the course.
You can either use your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Solo cards or PayPal account to pay for the online course. Our site uses the latest SSL encryption to ensure your safety. All payments are handled securely by PayPal.
You can begin the course immediately after your payment has been received. You will create your login details during the checkout process. We will also send you an email confirming your login details.
We estimate that the course will take about 2.5 hours to complete in total, plus an additional 30 minutes for the end of course test.
Once you have been awarded your certificate it is valid for life. The certificate does not expire or need renewing.
This course is incredibly helpful and easy to understand to start off a career in event planning. The case studies give you an insight into the real world of this role and not just the "shiny exterior". I'm loving this course and cannot wait to use the knowledge that I have gained in the [hopefully not so distant] future!

Really helpful course, it covers all the main aspects to become a successful PA. I was looking for an admin course where I can improve a new side of my professional career and this course had everything I needed. It gives you everything from basic computer knowledge to tips for the day to day basics like answering the phone or how to create a memo or book your boss’ travel arrangements. It offers a clear structure with all the main subjects divide in short modules, easy to study that way, and it gives you examples in real life as well as practice exercises that help you to understand everything. With support during all the course and access during a whole year, you cannot ask for more value for money! Totally recommended!

I am considering a career change, so this seemed a good place to start. The course was comprehensive, for the price and easy to follow. The videos were also really helpful, to help put the information into context. The instructor was very down to earth and easy to follow.
It is helpful to be able to print out the course notes, to refer to at a later date. I will also re-watch the videos when I need to.
The test at the end was multiple choice. There may have been information relating to this on the website, but I didn't find it. The questions were very specific, so you do need to have revised before you take the test.
All in all, I am impressed, for the £40 I spent.

There is plenty of choices for a range of courses, which made it harder for me to decide what course I wanted to pursue! The price of the courses are reasonable and doing it in your own time while in employment is a plus for myself. Trying to find time while in full time work is hard in itself, but having a good provider online it has opened the door for me to learn new things and expand my knowledge. I would definitely recommend to anyone who would want to learn online.

I found this way of learning perfect for me, as I could study at my own pace in the comfort of my home. Being dyslexic, I enjoyed studying the modules in my own time. Support always on hand if needed, plus a bonus of being able to print off each module to add my own notes.
Easy to use layout of the course, allowed myself to swiftly go through each module, with a small test at the end of each module before moving on, making sure the knowledge had sunk in! With a final Test at the end to complete the Diploma. I would recommend this site to others, looking to add to their skill set.

I can’t wait to start putting my work into action - becoming a Wedding Planner and being part of a couple’s day. Helping them plan their most important day of their lives.
