Romanian – Level 1
One of the less common Romance languages, Romanian is spoken by around 25 million people across the world. It's the native language and official language of Romania. However, it is also an official language in Moldova and widely spoken in many other parts of Europe.
Romanian uses the Latin alphabet primarily, although some dialects do make use of the Cyrillic alphabet. Since all the Romance languages share some characteristics, Romanian will help with learning any other Romance languages and is easier to learn for people who have spoken these languages before. The goal of Level 1 is to leave you with a wide basis of vocabulary, an ability to converse freely in Romanian, and a beginner's knowledge of Romanian grammar, sentence structure, and syntax. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to have conversations in Romanian and will have a strong foundation to continue learning the language and new vocabulary.

Upon completion of Level 2, you will be equipped with a wide variety of new speaking, writing, and listening skills in Romanian. Each level is aimed to give you additional confidence to use your newfound language skills in the real world, and the modules will give you the tools you need to do just that. You will be able to absorb information sustainably and quickly with the expertly designed and paced modules.

This will help with Romanian writing skills and make it easier and easier for you to converse in Romanian, even with native speakers!
This is the final level in your Romanian course, and it aims to give you the necessary tools to use your Romanian in day-to-day life and truly understand when you read or hear it elsewhere.
