Veterinary Support Assistant Diploma Course
This course will give you an overview of the veterinary industry, the role played by Veterinary Support Assistants (VSAs), and the most common issues and challenges faced by those working in the profession.
It will equip you with the knowledge you will need to communicate effectively with other members of the veterinary team and further your career in this sector. Working as a VSA is a great way of making a real difference to the lives of sick and injured animals on a daily basis. From administering first aid to routine surgery, you will learn what happens in the consultation rooms and operating theatres in a typical veterinary practice. The course addresses patient care at every stage of treatment, from diagnosis to surgery and post-operation recovery. It focuses primarily on the treatment of common domestic species, but the needs of exotic animals and horses are also addressed.

For me personally, I have a Masters in HR Management and I love to keep developing and learning and this course was a brilliant way to satisfy my hunger for learning but I could also fit it in with my full time role – win win!
Another positive edition to anyone’s CV – would recommend to anyone even if you are just curious about your employee rights!

A brilliant course which was very informative and I really enjoyed it. Very difficult test at the end so you do really need to read through every module to do the test and pass it.
I will be recommending it to all my friends for sure. The bonus is I have access to this information forever. So I can revisit it anytime I like, how great is that??? I think its amazing personally.

This course is very comprehensive. It is packed full of very helpful information to aid the Teaching assistant to use his or her skills and knowledge to the full.
If this course is being taken by those who have no knowledge of being a TA, then in my honest opinion they would certainly know about the role when they finish.
I do like the online tests at the end. It does make you think and definitely reinforces what material has just been read. It is also an incentive when seeing a 'grade' to realise how much has been taken in thus encouraging enthusiasm to proceed to the next module.
In all I would say that this course is certainly worth doing, I'm enjoying it and what it has to offer.

I use Sage 50 every day at work, but wanted a qualification on my CV to reflect this. I thought this course was well set out and very informative.
I really appreciated that the course is split into 10 modules as this made it very easy for me to stop and come back to when convenient. I found with work and 4 kids this was very helpful and with a good feature that it saved the place where I was so you could return at any time.
I must admit I was very surprised that I learnt new things and really glad I took the course. I would recommend this course to anyone thinking of using Sage for the first time or like me already use it daily. I really appreciated the fact that I used my tablet while taking the course.
I must be honest at 36 years old, this was my first course taken online, I was generally really surprised how easy to it was to order/book on line. Overall I felt this was a very positive experience for me I not only gained a qualification, I also gained confidence and have now book up 2 more courses.
