Cerebral palsy is a lifetime disability, with about 17 million people suffering from the disorder worldwide.
The effect of this disability varies from one person to another. Symptoms range from total lack of voluntary motion all over the body to weakness in a single hand. However, it is the most common form of physical disability in children and adults alike. The disorder impairs motion and causes lifelong disability. The complex disorder affects children and adults in a variety of ways: 1 in 3 patients with cerebral palsy or CP cannot walk; 1 in 4 cannot talk; 1 in 4 also have epilepsy, and 1 in 2 have an intellectual disability. Furthermore, the disability has no cure. This course has been designed to create awareness about the disorder to educate and reduce discrimination against individuals who are diagnosed with it.

Anyone who has an interest in learning more about this subject matter is encouraged to take the course. There are no entry requirements to take the course.
The course is broken down into 1 individual modules. Each module takes between 20 and 90 minutes on average to study. Although you are free to spend as much or as little time as you feel necessary on each module, simply log in and out of the course at your convenience.
You can study the course any time you like. Simply log in and out of the web based course as often as you require. The course is compatible with all computers, tablet devices and smart phones so you can even study while on the move!
Once you have completed all 1 modules there is a multiple choice test. The questions will be on a range of topics found within the 1 modules. The test, like the course, is online and can be taken a time and location of your choosing.
The pass mark for the test is 70%.
If you don’t pass the test first time you will get further opportunities to take the test again after extra study. There are no limits to the number of times you can take the test. All test retakes are included within the price of the course.
You can either use your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Solo cards or PayPal account to pay for the online course. Our site uses the latest SSL encryption to ensure your safety. All payments are handled securely by PayPal.
You can begin the course immediately after your payment has been received. You will create your login details during the checkout process. We will also send you an email confirming your login details.
We estimate that the course will take about 0.75 hours to complete in total, plus an additional 30 minutes for the end of course test.
Once you have been awarded your certificate it is valid for life. The certificate does not expire or need renewing.

I work in a landscaping company doing all HR and Bookkeeping, but wanted to further my education and start being able to help clients more than just sending them an invoice, I wanted to start designing as well. I am still going back and reviewing the plants knowledge and reviewing just in case.

It is quite an interesting course! I have learnt a lot since I have seen the precise explanation and video illustration, and I have enough time to learn so well as I did it in my own pace. I've fully understood the whole concept on each module. By the time I've finished the last module, I'm quite prepared for the exam because everything I've learnt has already been absorbed into my mind. When I first started, I was quite anxious, but after seeing the course layout, it was very simple, effective and most important, engaging.
I especially liked the fact you don't become overwhelmed by the courses quantity of modules, and in the end you have to answer a certain amount of questions within a certain time limit. Every module's layout is very clean, fresh and comprehensive when it comes to its explanation.
If there was any part of the course I was unsure of, I would seek help from the advisors via the online chat and I could say they have been very friendly and helpful.

Very thorough and covered everything yo could possibly need. I trained many years ago and wanted a refresh and this was perfect and enabled me to get my insurance and feel confident being back in the Beauty Industry.

Excellent course, easy to follow, excellent tutorial videos that set examples out very simply and are easy to pause or fast forward meaning you can go through this course at totally your own speed.
The work sheets are very good as the examples from the video are all replicated clearly and you can skip back and forth between the worksheet and the video if you don’t remember something completely the first time. When you are confident with the subject, you move yourself on to the next one
I love that I can do this completely in my own time and am sure that at the end of the course I will be confident in my own ability to use Excel.
