Everyone, including parents, teachers, coaches and those engaged in physical activity, should be aware of the signs, symptoms and dangers presented by concussions.
Learning more about what a concussion is and how it can be treated can go a long way to keeping you, your family and those in your care as safe as possible, even if a head injury occurs.
This course goes into detail about concussions and concussion awareness.
We begin by giving you a brief introduction to the topic, including a discussion of medical definitions. We move on to talk about the signs and symptoms you need to keep an eye out for if you suspect that a concussion could be present or may occur. Next, we discuss the risk factors that may indicate that a concussion is more likely to happen.
Finally, we talk about the various treatment methods that can be used once a concussion is diagnosed.

- The signs and symptoms you should watch for in children, which can dramatically differ from those in adults

Anyone who has an interest in learning more about this subject matter is encouraged to take the course. There are no entry requirements to take the course.
The course is broken down into 4 individual modules. Each module takes between 20 and 90 minutes on average to study. Although you are free to spend as much or as little time as you feel necessary on each module, simply log in and out of the course at your convenience.
You can study the course any time you like. Simply log in and out of the web based course as often as you require. The course is compatible with all computers, tablet devices and smart phones so you can even study while on the move!
Once you have completed all 4 modules there is a multiple choice test. The questions will be on a range of topics found within the 4 modules. The test, like the course, is online and can be taken a time and location of your choosing.
The pass mark for the test is 70%.
If you don’t pass the test first time you will get further opportunities to take the test again after extra study. There are no limits to the number of times you can take the test. All test retakes are included within the price of the course.
You can either use your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Solo cards or PayPal account to pay for the online course. Our site uses the latest SSL encryption to ensure your safety. All payments are handled securely by PayPal.
You can begin the course immediately after your payment has been received. You will create your login details during the checkout process. We will also send you an email confirming your login details.
We estimate that the course will take about 2.5 hours to complete in total, plus an additional 30 minutes for the end of course test.
Once you have been awarded your certificate it is valid for life. The certificate does not expire or need renewing.
Excellent course, easy to follow, excellent tutorial videos that set examples out very simply and are easy to pause or fast forward meaning you can go through this course at totally your own speed.
The work sheets are very good as the examples from the video are all replicated clearly and you can skip back and forth between the worksheet and the video if you don’t remember something completely the first time. When you are confident with the subject, you move yourself on to the next one
I love that I can do this completely in my own time and am sure that at the end of the course I will be confident in my own ability to use Excel.

This course is amazingly well structured in such a way that it enabled me to memorise everything and in my own time, and explained in terms everyone could understand, the modules were short and to the point with very little un-needed information and at a great price too!
Online support staff were amazing they couldn't help enough. Messages were sent within 20 minutes and were extremely accurate. The final exam was easy and gave me plenty of time to complete with 30 questions and 30 minutes to answer (although only 10 minutes were needed) after ordering my certificate it was delivered within 48 hours. It looks amazing and the quality is great too.
