Being able to live in the comfort of your own home can do wonders for those with disabilities and allows them the peace of mind of knowing they are still in control over their own lives. But what are the costs and how do people ensure they get the care they need? This is where independent living and the various organisations surrounding the movement can help.
People who learn about independent living often benefit by learning about the various entitlements and allowances available to them, how they can personalise their care - and more. Independent living allows the disabled to live comfortably in their home and partake in their communities with ease. This course will go into detail about independent living, the principles and the prospects of independent living.

Anyone who has an interest in learning more about this subject matter is encouraged to take the course. There are no entry requirements to take the course.
The course is broken down into 1 individual modules. Each module takes between 20 and 90 minutes on average to study. Although you are free to spend as much or as little time as you feel necessary on each module, simply log in and out of the course at your convenience.
You can study the course any time you like. Simply log in and out of the web based course as often as you require. The course is compatible with all computers, tablet devices and smart phones so you can even study while on the move!
Once you have completed all 1 modules there is a multiple choice test. The questions will be on a range of topics found within the 1 modules. The test, like the course, is online and can be taken a time and location of your choosing.
The pass mark for the test is 70%.
If you don’t pass the test first time you will get further opportunities to take the test again after extra study. There are no limits to the number of times you can take the test. All test retakes are included within the price of the course.
You can either use your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Solo cards or PayPal account to pay for the online course. Our site uses the latest SSL encryption to ensure your safety. All payments are handled securely by PayPal.
You can begin the course immediately after your payment has been received. You will create your login details during the checkout process. We will also send you an email confirming your login details.
We estimate that the course will take about 0.75 hours to complete in total, plus an additional 30 minutes for the end of course test.
Once you have been awarded your certificate it is valid for life. The certificate does not expire or need renewing.
I found this course most interesting. Having been a Receptionist in various industries over the years, and learning more at each location, this course helped focus my thoughts 'back to basics' and made me rethink some of the things I'd learnt. Very helpful, very concise, informative and uncomplicated.
It also gave great insights into the different kind of Reception work which can be so varied. I have been put forward for a Doctors Receptionist vacancy, a 'trade' I haven't ventured into yet, and will take what I have learnt from the course to the interview and hopefully it will stand me in good stead.

I really enjoyed this course. Although I already work in customer services, I found it very informative and I picked up a lot of useful information and tips. What I liked about the course was that it was something you could do at your own pace and it was easy to follow. It made me feel more relaxed about my studying and put me at ease when it came to the final test at the end. The modules were just the right length, with plenty of content to get your teeth into but not too much that it became overwhelming, and that made it better to learn and digest what was being said. This is a good overview with useful hints and tips covering a broad range of administrative activities and the tools to assist in effectively carrying out these activities. Even as a seasoned administrator, I was able to learn new tips and functions within the tools that I was unaware of to make my role more effective.

Wow what an incredible insight for the start of anyone's journey in property. This course gives you so much information and there are tests and questions on each of the modules. The course is very easy to follow and well laid out. You can actually make notes on the pages of each module using the notes tab!
