Romanian – Level 1 Course
One of the less common Romance languages, Romanian is spoken by around 25 million people across the world. It’s the native language and official language of Romania. However, it is also an official language in Moldova and widely spoken in many other parts of Europe. Romanian uses the Latin alphabet primarily, although some dialects do make use of the Cyrillic alphabet. Since all the Romance languages share some characteristics, Romanian will help with learning any other Romance languages and is easier to learn for people who have spoken these languages before. Although it’s one of the least spoken of the Romance languages, it is definitely one of the most unique and full of culture! The goal of Level 1 is to leave you with a wide basis of vocabulary, an ability to converse freely in Romanian, and a beginner’s knowledge of Romanian grammar, sentence structure, and syntax. Upon completion of this course, you will be able to have conversations in Romanian and will have a strong foundation to continue learning the language and new vocabulary.

Level 2 focuses on some of the most important verbs in Romanian as well as some common topics of conversation. The goal of Level 2 is to reinforce your current knowledge while sustainably adding additional information to your repertoire. You will dive a little deeper into the rules and intricacies of the Romanian language and what sets it apart, making it a useful and fun language to learn. Upon completion of Level 2, you will be equipped with a wide variety of new speaking, writing, and listening skills in Romanian. Each level is aimed to give you additional confidence to use your newfound language skills in the real world, and the modules will give you the tools you need to do just that. You will be able to absorb information sustainably and quickly with the expertly designed and paced modules.

Level 3 focuses on giving you the tools to tackle some of the most complex and irregular parts of the Romanian language. In Level 3, you will learn about specific words that are important in Romanian, gaining conversations phrases and vocab that you can put to good use right away. Level 3 is ideal for ensuring that you truly understand the ins and outs of the Romanian language. This will help with Romanian writing skills and make it easier and easier for you to converse in Romanian, even with native speakers! This is the final level in your Romanian course, and it aims to give you the necessary tools to use your Romanian in day-to-day life and truly understand when you read or hear it elsewhere.

- A more in-depth look at some other Romanian verbs and how they are conjugated
- How to describe things and people in Romanian
- How to ask and answer more complex questions in Romanian

Anyone who has an interest in learning more about this subject matter is encouraged to take the course. There are no entry requirements to take the course.
The course is broken down into 0 individual modules. Each module takes between 20 and 90 minutes on average to study. Although you are free to spend as much or as little time as you feel necessary on each module, simply log in and out of the course at your convenience.
You can study the course any time you like. Simply log in and out of the web based course as often as you require. The course is compatible with all computers, tablet devices and smart phones so you can even study while on the move!
Once you have completed all 0 modules there is a multiple choice test. The questions will be on a range of topics found within the 0 modules. The test, like the course, is online and can be taken a time and location of your choosing.
The pass mark for the test is 70%.
If you don’t pass the test first time you will get further opportunities to take the test again after extra study. There are no limits to the number of times you can take the test. All test retakes are included within the price of the course.
You can either use your Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Solo cards or PayPal account to pay for the online course. Our site uses the latest SSL encryption to ensure your safety. All payments are handled securely by PayPal.
You can begin the course immediately after your payment has been received. You will create your login details during the checkout process. We will also send you an email confirming your login details.
